Welcome!
Racso's Place is the personal website of Henry D. Archut, known online as Racso.
This website is not a blog, or any kind of information resource. This is simply a place where I can share my interests with those who happen by.
I am a 33 year old New Jersey resident who works at a medical supplies warehouse. I have been online since August, 1996, and I have miantained a web presence since November, 1996.
I spent much of my early online days on Usenet, and later on IRC. The past two years I have been spending much of my time playing World of Warcraft.
I have an interest in writing and drawing though I do not practice either very much. I greatly enjoy anime, I am currently watching K-ON, and recently finished ToraDora. Other interests include listening to a wide range of music, coding PHP, and reading small press comics.
My job has mandatory overtime, we stay until all orders are ready to ship, that and the two years I've been playing WoW, I tend to forget I even have a website. I am now hoping to find a balance between everything where I can actually get something going here.
This weekend I redid my color scheme, removed some dead links, added some new links, and even added a few lines of code to the PHP script that runs this site.
Hopefully more will come.
I've known people on IRC who have been playing WoW since the beta, but it took a few years before I would ever try it. In fact it took a guest account from a friend who dared me not to like it.
So on May 12, 2007 I went to www.worldofwarcraft.com armed with a guest account and downloaded the game. I created a Human Warrior named Delgo, and nervously entered the game world. About four days into the ten day trial I bought the game.
I meant to make a new character after buying the game, but instead I continued playing Delgo. I very slowly took him to level 70, and after the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, I slowly leveled him to 80.
Later I renamed Delgo to Racso, I wonder why.
I am not big on end game content, raid progression, or instances in general. I mostly just enjoy the game in my own way, and help other players when I can.
