First post for my empty new site.

I haven't had a real website of some kind going since April of 2006, when I canceled my dedicated web server account. After experimenting with a few content management systems, I ended up having to write my own from scratch in order to get exactly what I wanted. This took a while, a few months off and on, more off than on actually as I just didn't have a lot of motivation for such a tedious project. I finally finished it though, for the most part.

Now I have to fill it with content, which seems as much a daunting task as coding the site itself. This is the fun part though, so just give me a little time.

I needed to give a name to the CMS system I wrote, so I chose to call it "Yukino", naming it after the leading female character of the anime series Kare Kano.

I changed the color scheme recently, the more I saw the old colors the less I liked them. I like this blue though, it should work for a while.

I removed the Guestbook also. I appreciate the few honest posts that were in there, but most of the posts were gibberish generated by spam bots. My filters removed what they were trying to sell, so all that was left was the gibberish.

I'm not quite done tweaking things here, and I still have a few things I need to add by way of code as well as content. I'm getting to it though.
